For LGBTQI+ youth, the idea of coming out to friends and family can be terrifying, with many young Australians choosing to stay silent due to fear of rejection or worse. To give LGBTQI+ youth the support and reassurance they need to come out, we teamed up with Minus18 to create ‘You’re Accepted’, the first Facebook message that gives LGBTI+ youth the chance to anonymously find out how many of their friends would support them if they came out.
